Receiving Instructions for Freight Items

You or the individual accepting the delivery on your behalf must carefully inspect your order. Please follow this step-by-step guide. If you adhere to these steps, you may be able to file a claim for a damaged item. CessCash.com is not responsible for any orders that are not thoroughly checked before signing for the delivery. Under no circumstances should you feel pressured by the delivery person to sign for your order unless you are completely satisfied. If you experience any issues with the freight driver, contact CessCash.com at +1 (202) 536-9439.

1. Standard Delivery of a Freight Shipment

Standard freight delivery means the driver will bring your order to the edge of the truck’s interior. If you chose a standard delivery option, you will be responsible for unloading your freight order. The driver will position their vehicle at the safest and most accessible point of your receiving area, such as a loading dock or designated delivery entrance.

If you do not have a loading dock, forklift, or other means to unload your freight items, we recommend selecting the Liftgate Delivery option when placing your order. The driver will not unload the freight item or bring it inside your location.

Plan Ahead: Ensure you have the appropriate number of experienced personnel and necessary equipment (such as a forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, dolly, or crowbar) to safely unload your shipment.

2. Inspect the Freight Package for Damage

Before signing for the delivery, inspect the outside of the freight package for any visible damage.

  • If You Notice Visible Damage: Refuse the shipment. Do not sign for it. Inform the driver that you are refusing the delivery due to damage.
  • If You Sign for the Shipment: You accept full responsibility for the order’s condition. CessCash.com will not be able to assist with a replacement if you sign for a damaged order. Contact us at +1 (202) 536-9439 if you have any concerns.

3. Unpack and Inspect All Items Before Signing

Even if the exterior packaging appears undamaged, you must unpack and inspect the contents thoroughly. You have the right to inspect your order before signing.

  • The Driver Must Wait while you check for any damage. If the driver refuses to wait, call CessCash.com at +1 (202) 536-9439 for assistance.

4. Check for Missing Parts or Internal Damage

After unpacking your items, check for any damage or missing parts. Pay particular attention to:

  • Scratches, dents, or dings on exterior panels
  • Pushed-in or crimped corners
  • Damaged pipes, tubes, coils, screens, or grillwork
  • Cracked or scratched glass or plastic components

If you discover significant damage, you may need to refuse the delivery. For minor cosmetic damage that does not affect the item’s operation, contact CessCash.com to discuss repair options before signing for the delivery.

5. Signing for Your Shipment

If you are fully satisfied with your order, you may sign for the delivery. Keep all shipping documents in case you identify hidden damage later.

  • Minor Cosmetic Damage: If you choose to accept the order with minor damage, note the damage clearly on the Bill of Lading and sign for it as accepted with damage.
  • Undecided About Signing? If you are unsure whether to accept or refuse the shipment, do not sign anything. Contact CessCash.com immediately at +1 (202) 536-9439 for guidance.

Once you sign and accept the delivery, you assume full responsibility for the item’s condition. Any claims for damage will need to be submitted to the freight carrier directly. CessCash.com will not be liable for damage claims after acceptance.
